Architecture in Rome - Connie Ball

I was completely blown away by how beautiful the buildings were in Rome - each and every one was a work of art. The streets were dominated by towering pale hued flats and offices that each boasted intricate vintage style windows and balconies.

I was even more taken aback by some of the big tourist attractions; the Colosseum was like nothing I'd ever seen before! There was a lot of information about the history behind it too which meant I was able to visualise how it was utilised all those years ago.

We also visited a church in Rome which held the most incredible interior I've ever laid eyes on. It's marbling that featured on the walls was so detailed and the ceiling included a skylight alongside even more gorgeous decor.

All in all, the architecture in Rome was no other - every building we visited was just breathtaking. I was beyond impressed!
