Museo Pietro Annigoni: Aldo Fallai- From Giorgio Armani to the Renaissance - Anjum Bhatia

Aldo Fallai exhibition.

Day One in Florence, we walked through the beautiful town center with amazing buildings and tiny streets and then the longest and steepest hill, or so it seemed. We arrived at Villa Bardini. We had the opportunity to the see the exhibition portraying the amazing photography of Aldo Fallai called ‘From Giorgio Armani to the Renaissance’.

The exhibition showed Aldo Fallai’s collaboration with Giorgio Armani (for advertising campaigns) and the era of 'Made in Italy'. The exhibition portrayed more than one hundred and fifty amazing photographs all done by Aldo Fallai and shows his creative career from the late 1970s to 2013.
The photographs also show the 80’s when Giorgio Armani created the elegant, androgynous woman. Photographed all in almost Black and white, Aldo Fallai has captured some of the most spectacular and beautiful photographs.

After seeing the exhibition, we went on the roof where we saw the breathtaking view of Florence. Thank you Italy for having us. #MOFtravels.
