The store was on a side street overlooking the river just near the bridge Ponte Vecchio- an ideal setting. It was light and airy and had authentic Italian music playing, it really did feel perfect. The store didn't feel like a store but more like a vintage dressing room, with the clothes being hung on classic rails and bags being placed on miss-matched shelves, the boutique was furnished to perfection. Everywhere you turned there was something pretty to admire, everything being strategically placed, however it had a comfortable and natural feel about it, it didn't feel like forced VM, but instead just how the store was supposed to be, organic. The clothing were hung according to their season, style and colour, creating a simple way of shopping for the consumer, but was also complementing to the stores overall appearance and its VM. The brands offered ranged from brands I'd never heard of to vintage Louis Vuitton, Valentino and Fendi, it really was a goldmine for wonderfully vintage, luxury items.
It was definitely one of my most favourite stores I visited in my time in Italy, as it was such an enchanting surprise, an authentic, reasonably priced, beautiful Italian store. It was exactly everything I would have hoped for. It is quite hard to explain just how exquisite the store was, so here are some images I took on my first visit to Boutique Nadine.
Unfortunately, I didn't purchase anything however, here are just a few of my favourite pieces from the range of beautiful clothing offered at Boutique Nadine.
The website for Boutique Nadine is www.boutiquenadine.it.
